What should I expect on my first visit to The Studio?
On your first visit we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early so you can get acquainted with our space and fill out a waiver form (required for all first time clients). Check-in at our front desk and let our staff know that you are new and if you have any physical issues of which we need to be aware. Please do bear in mind that we enforce a strict late-arrival policy: if you are more than 10 minutes late, you will not be allowed into the class.
It is completely natural to feel unsure or awkward in a new space and when trying new things. It can even be hard for people who have practiced for years to go someplace new. The Studio’s instructors pride themselves on being able to teach women of all levels and experiences, because they too were once new students beginning their own personal practices. Many of our classes are geared to all levels and experiences and the instructors will often give modifications to intensify or decrease the level of difficulty depending on the particular class. Our staff are always available to answer any questions you may have about a class and its requirements.
I have never done Pilates Reformer before; which classes do you recommend?
We strongly suggest all our beginners attend our Open Flow Reformer classes first. You will be introduced to the machine & the classes are run at a moderate pace. Once you have increased your strength and feel comfortable with the reformer you can move to the next level. You might also like to start with a mat class to become acquainted with the 5 Basic Principle of Pilates which are the foundation of any Pilates practice.
What do I wear to class?
We encourage clients to wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch and move in. Yoga, Mat Pilates and Barre classes are barefoot and we encourage socks with sticky bottoms for our Pilates Reformer classes. For the comfort of everyone in the class, we kindly ask that you come free of heavy perfumes.
What facilities and amenities do you offer?
We provide complimentary towels, drinking water dispenser (BYO bottle), showers and changing facilities. Mats are provided free of charge but we suggest to bring your own. A mat that is familiar and used only by you can feel more comfortable and less distracting for your practice. For your convenience, we sell of variety of mats at The Studio. We provide towels in each room for your use during class.
I am interested in becoming a Pilates/Yoga instructor. Do you offer Teacher Trainings at The Studio?

How do I get to The Studio and is there parking?
See our location map under our ‘CONTACT’ page or call us at 02.621.0000 for specific directions from your starting point. There is a large parking lot in front of The Studio that charges 2 Dhs per hour (Mawaqif).
I can't make it to The Studio to pay before my class; do you accept online payments?
Yes we do! If you are unable to come into The Studio to pay before your class (prior registration and pre-payment is required for all of our Swing Yoga, Antigravity®, and Reformer Pilates classes), we can send you an e-invoice through email which you can pay online by credit card. Please email us at email@example.com or call 02.621.000 so we can send you the payment email.
Can I join a waitlist and how do they work?
If you’ve added yourself to a class waitlist and a spot becomes available with more than 12 hours notice before the class start time, you will automatically be added to the class and notified by email. You have the option of cancelling that class reservation with more than 12 hours notice without penalty.
Please monitor your email or call us at 02.621.000 to see if you’ve been added to a waitlist class. Also, please make sure you have a current email address on file with us to ensure that you are signed up to receive class & appointment notification emails. If a spot becomes available within 12 hours of the class start time, we’ll notify you of the availability and you can decide if you would like to take the space in class. Please note that if a class is currently fully reserved, you are still welcome to come to the studio to check for last minute availability.
Can I ask for a refund if I change my mind?
Please purchase carefully as NO REFUNDS are available for any package or sessions. Unless you are deemed medically unfit to participate in our classes for the foreseeable future (medical certificate required) in which case you will receive a refund on your remaining classes (less an administrative fee). Promotional or discounted offers, including any trial offers are strictly non-refundable.
How can I cancel my booking?
Cancelling or rescheduling sessions must be done more than 12 hours prior to your group class beginning and 24 hours before your private sessions. We understand sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise, but we have to be fair and consistent with all clients therefore no exceptions will be made. If you do not cancel within these time frames or do not show up for your class or appointment, you will be responsible for the payment of the session or have a session deducted from your account. I'm running late; can I still join the class?
Unfortunately, no. All of our classes include a warm up, so if you are more than 10 minutes late to your class, even if you call to inform us, you will not be able to attend.
When is it safe to attend Prenatal classes?
We ask for medical clearance from your doctor of OBGYN to allow you to train at The Studio while pregnant. We offer both Prenatal Yoga and Pilates classes.
When is it safe to return to classes after giving birth?
Clearance from your doctor is required to recommence classes post birth to make sure your body is healing and ready for excercise. We have postnatal Pilates classes we suggest you attend before joining into our regular classes.
