Self Defense Workshop

Self-defense is not merely the ability to use techniques to react to an attack.

Self-defense extends beyond physical capabilities and resides in our ability to stay mentally awake.

Our training will work in tadem with the values of yoga to teach the mind to stay awake to possibilities of danger, awake to body language of those around us, and awake to potential escape routes.

We will work in pairs and small groups to develop different physical tactics and techniques to defend an attack, if needed.

These will be based on the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as reality based training.
